The concept is driven by his compassion for small business and the struggles entrepreneurs endure to succeed. Maynard has most recently purchased a well known franchise restaurant in Edmonton that was down on its luck. Within 12 months he was asked to become a member of the National Marketing advisory committee. 42 months after that his store was the fastest growing franchise in the Canadian network. His TV commercials are used in franchisee training in school at head office for all new owners to learn from.
What is so amazing??? Maynard did not use franchise stock ads. He wrote his own ads, created his own marketing plans, and created his own TV commercial. He became so busy he then found himself working without rest. He sold the restaurant to balance out his life again. Oh, did we mention he was still working a 7/7 rotation working in northern Alberta while he employed 18 people in Edmonton and managing his own rental property on top of that. Now he still supervises
multi- million dollar projects in the oil sands and holds 1 rental property.
As Maynard transitions to retirement, he plans to pass along his knowledge to business owners who are working really hard but not enjoying the freedom they had originally dreamed of.
